Meghan Markle and Prince Harry appeared to have chosen a different tactic for their public profile in recent months, something which insiders believe has been a great relief to King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton and the rest of the Royal Family

The Royal Family are said to be “encouraged” that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be focusing their attention on their future rather than speaking out about their time in The Firm, it has been claimed.
Since quitting their senior roles back in 2020, the couple have given countless accounts of their experiences within the family – and very little of it has been positive. Their first big chat was with Oprah Winfrey, in which Meghan claimed questions were asked about the colour Archie’s skin and said Princess Kate made her cry, while Harry described King Charles and Prince William as “trapped”.
Then it was time for their highly-anticipated Netflix show, in which they made more claims about the Duke’s family. But perhaps the most shocking allegations came in Harry’s book, Spare. In it, he gave never-before-seen levels of detail on his life – including the moment he was told his mother, Princess Diana had died. He also talked about losing his virginity and accused William of physically attacking him during a fight.
But since being dropped by Spotify and reportedly focusing on separate business ventures, insiders believe the couple are now focusing on their family and what’s next rather than dwelling on the past – something that’s come as a big relief to Harry’s family.
We’ve seen very little of the couple in terms of official work, with just the occasional update on their Archewell website.
The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English writes that while relations between the Duke and his father and brother are still “not good”, the Firm “feel encouraged by claims that Harry and Meghan are now determined to focus on the future rather than family recriminations.”
It’s been a difficult few months for Meghan and Harry, which has seen them lose their Spotify deal and miss out on an Emmy nomination for their Netflix show. They’ve also been at the centre of many cruel split rumours, however they were quickly rubbished by friends.
The pair are reportedly being snubbed by Hollywood royalty over fears it could land them in hot water with Prince William and Princess Kate. According to Newsnation, the couple’s high-profile Montecito neighbours – which include the likes of Steven Spielberg, Julia Louise-Dreyfus and Rob Lowe – are reportedly giving the former senior Royals a wide-birth so as not to alienate Will and Kate.
