The Prince and Princess of Wales have delighted the public by sharing a painting made by their eldest son Prince George.
The Christmas artwork created by the young royal depicts a reindeer in a snowy scene, accompanied by robins. Royal Family supporters were quick to compliment the nine-year-old Prince’s talent and many suggested that he has inherited his creativity from his grandad, King Charles III.
The King fell in love with watercolour painting in the 1970s, following on from the late Queen’s passion for photography. He is renowned for painting stunning landscapes- including castles, mountains and cottages.

As many people praised the creative talents of royals past and present on social media, one woman commented: “It seems that the artistic abilities of the RF (Royal Family) will continue into the next generation. There are and have been some very talented artists in the family.”
Others added that Kate Middleton, The Princess of Wales, also has incredible drawing skills. The public got to see some of her work last year when she shared a sketch of St Andrews in Scotland.
Many were also blown away at how someone so young could paint something so impressive. A fan remarked: “Amazing work for anyone, but Prince George is only 9 which makes it so much more impressive”.
Some even wanted to buy the artwork. A man added: “Merry Christmas!! Fantastic painting little man!!
“Perhaps George could start his philanthropy early and turn this into a Christmas card sold in the Palace shops with profits going to a children’s charity?? It’s that good!!”
