The Queen’s sister Princess Margaret was known for her party-girl lifestyle full of glamorous social events and high-profile romances. With this life came a certain wardrobe that began to define the Princess, cementing her as an elite socialite and media darling.
One of her most famous looks came from when she attended a film premiere in Leicester Square in 1951. Margaret wore an outfit of a white, beaded gown and a white fur coat which seemed to capture the glamour of the time.
Now her granddaughter, who was born two months after the Princess’s death has recreated her granny’s look. Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones paid homage to her glamorous grandmother with an outfit she recently wore to a high-profile party.

She wore a Michael Kors Collection crystal dress and a white faux fur coat reminiscent of her royal grandparent’s outfit from more than 70 years before. Obvious comparisons have been drawn between the pair since she appeared at the party.
It was the first time Margarita had been spotted out in public since she attended her great aunt the Queen’s funeral. The 20-year-old Oxford Brookes student was seen sitting in Westminster Abbey next to dad David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, and brother Charles during the ceremony.
Eight-year-old Margarita was also famously a bridesmaid at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2011 royal wedding, one of the first times she was thrust into the public spotlight.
