Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra to perform in Barrow

The orchestra will take to the stage at Furness Academy Sports Hall on February 21, beginning at 3.30pm as part of its Classic FM Hall of Fame concert.

Originally planned for Barrow Town Hall, the event was moved to accommodate the full orchestra and deliver a larger symphonic experience.

The concert programme will feature Grieg’s Morning Mood from Peer Gynt, Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, and Jenkins’ Palladio (Allegretto).

Miloš, the celebrated guitarist, withdrew from the performance due to health reasons, but international guitarist Carlotta Dalia will step in to perform.

The concert is described as: “A truly magnificent celebration of so many of the all-time greats,” bringing together pieces featured in films and memorable moments, performed live by the RLPO under the direction of conductor Domingo Hindoyan.
