The Patcham Farm Court site had been earmarked for uses as offices in Brighton and Hove City Council’s City Plan Part One, however since this is not how Royal Mail plan to use the site the plan will be carefully considered before any approval is given.
The plans will be subject to scrutiny from the planning committee with a decision not expected to be made before Autumn, 2023.
A Royal Mail spokesman previously said their plans would create 85 staff parking spaces on site, as well as 13 motorcycle spaces and 40 bicycle spaces.
