Royal Mail apologised to Somerset residents after Covid caused delays

ROYAL Mail has apologised to its Somerset residents after Covid related issues caused delays to its mail delivery.

A spokesperson said “some areas of Somerset” recently experienced some delays “due to Covid related self-isolation”.

The full comment read: “The vast majority of mail is delivered safely and on time. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. In some areas of Somerset, we have been experiencing some delays to service due to Covid related self-isolation.

“We would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience experienced.”
