Royal Mail have released 12 special Only Fools and Horses stamps, four of which are dedicated to the Trotter family

There are 12 in all, with eight showing classic scenes and one-liners from the hit TV comedy’s long history.

The other four are dedicated to Peckham’s Trotter family, including character favourites Uncle Albert, Del, Rodney and Grandad.

Fools and Horses ran for ten years followed by TV specials, until the last one aired on Christmas Day 2003.

Royal Mail’s Philip Parker said: “The superb writing, comic one-liners and the warmth and idiosyncrasies of its characters made Only Fools And Horses one of the most loved TV comedies of all time.

“We celebrate 40 years of the Trotters’ wheeling and dealing, with new stamps revisiting some of the show’s classic moments.”

One of the stamps features the scene where Del Boy falls through a bar in a pub, voted as the nation’s most memorable TV moment in a poll last year.

The stamps go on sale from February 16.

They will also be available for purchase as a full set in a presentation pack from the Royal Mail’s website.
