Royal Mail has warned customers to get their Christmas post sorted out as early as possible, to ensure it reaches your friends and family in time.

Especially if you’re sending cards or gifts out to those serving in the British Forces, you’ll want to make sure your Christmas cheer reaches your loved one.

Christmas is the busiest time of year for Royal Mail, and this year the organisation are recruiting 20,000 workers to help ensure everyone’s Christmas cards and parcels are delivered.

Even with all the extra pairs of hands, you can help Royal Mail out by posting items well in advance.
