“Like the rest of the UK, our people are following Government and NHS advice on self-isolation and social distancing.
“In a small number of our delivery offices we occasionally experience resourcing issues if a significant number of employees have to self-isolate for a period of time.”
The rise in demand has also led to delays in some parts of the UK.
“This, along with the continued rise in parcels as more people shop online, can restrict our ability to provide full delivery services,” the statement added.
