Royal Mail delivery delays hit 30 UK postcodes today — full list

Royal Mail is facing delays across the country and has issued regular updates in recent days. The company has also shared the postcodes which are affected today. The website states: “We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for six days a week. In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.

“In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive.”

The website added that weekend delivery and collection services are expected to take place today, March 28 and parcel deliveries tomorrow, March 29.

Most of the Customer Service Points are also open at the weekend for customers to collect items for which Royal Mail have left a “Something for you” card.

Impacted offices

Birmingham East DO (B8-B10)

Bridge of Weir DO (PA11, PA13)

Huntingdon DO (PE26-PE29)

Leatherhead DO (KT21-KT24)

New Ferry DO (CH32, CH62, CH63)

Newcastle Under Lyme DO (ST5, ST55)

Sutton in Ashfield DO (NG17)

Royal Mail also said it delivers and collects mail on most days of the year, including Saturdays. However, they don’t usually deliver or collect on public or local holidays.

This includes Good Friday, April 3, where there are no collections or deliveries except for TD15.

On Easter Monday, April 6, there will be no deliveries or collections; they will resume the next working day.

Anyone who wishes to post a parcel or letter over the Easter period should be aware of the postal dates.
