Royal Mail delivery office in Newark shorten public opening hours

A postal delivery office has made changes to it’s opening times.

Royal Mail’s Newark Delivery Office on Pelham Street have altered the times in which they are open to the public.

The office will now be open for a narrow window each day from 8am to 10am, Monday to Friday and from 8am to 12pm on Saturdays, closed on Sundays.

Last collection times may vary and can be as early as 30 minutes before closing time, potentially shortening the opening hours further.

The changes will affect residents who need to pick up a parcel in person after choosing the local collect option of deliver, following a failed home delivery or incorrectly paid postage.

Customers are also able to print prepaid labels, drop off a prepaid item or make returns at the Pelham Street office.
