Royal Mail delivery schedule over Easter break – including Covid-19 tests

Expecting an Easter card or maybe even an egg in the post?

The bank holiday weekend is upon us, and with more and more of us turning to online deliveries during the lockdown, will you get that delivery you’ve been waiting for?

Royal Mail has confirmed there are no collections or deliveries on Good Friday (April 2) or Easter Monday (April 5).

But there will be a normal postal service on Saturday, April 3.

The postal giant said Bank Holiday and Easter priority postbox collections for COVID-19 test kit returns will continue to run.

Collection times are as follows:

Fri 2 April:  Sunday collection times (NI, Wales and England)
Sat 3 April:  Normal weekend collection times (all of UK)
Sun 4 April:  Sunday collection times (all of UK)
Mon 5 April:  Sunday collection times (all of UK)

Royal Mail is a partner for the government’s coronavirus testing programme and collects completed test kits from priority postboxes or from homes.
