Delivery Postperson with Driving – Sevenoaks
This role is described as physically demanding, but one the nation relies on.
Working between the hours of 8.40am and 2.10pm across five days per week, you will be responsible for sorting the mail for your allocated route, before spending four to six hours delivering mail outdoors.
You will also be responsible for covering periods of leave for a fixed number of routes, so you’ll need to be flexible.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 27:30 hours
Shift: Between 08:40 and 14:10, 5 days per week (Monday – Sunday)
Hourly Rate: £10.85 (aged 18+). £8.44 (aged 17) plus an additional £5.83 per hour Sunday premium, a weekly supplement of £26.61 (pro rata) plus an area payment of £35.00 (pro rata) is also payable.

Cleaning Operative – Rochester
As a cleaning operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces safely and professionally to a high standard.
Royal Mail require someone who can operate a variety of cleaning equipment – however, full training is provided with a first day induction. This role will be physically challenging and involves manual handling activities.
This role will require the applicant to work outside for at least 3 hours a day. This will be to carry out Cardboard & Plastic Baling duties, using a baling machine. Full training is provided in the use of the baling machine, this role does involve manual handling.
