The Royal Mail has issued eight limited-edition stamps featuring photographs of the Queen throughout her 70-year reign as part of Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Available to purchase from 7,000 Post Office branches, the stamps commemorate different aspects of Her Majesty’s royal duties, and range from 1957 through to 2020. From the Trooping of the Colour to the West Indies in St Vincent, the stamps will feature the various official duties the Queen has undertaken.
One of the stamps features Her Majesty at the Order of the Garter ceremony in Windsor, June 1999, while a black and white image shows the Queen with The Duke of Edinburgh during a tour of the United States, Washington, in October 1957. Celebrating the Queen’s life and works, make sure not to miss out on picking these up.
