Royal Mail issues Bank Holiday service update – 10 postcodes ‘impacted’ by delays

Royal Mail announced that the next date when there will be “no collections or deliveries” is Monday, May 8, for the Coronation of King Charles III.

Its website explained that access in the EC1, SW1, SE1, W1 and WC postcode areas will be restricted for security reasons.

This will be on Tuesday, May 2, from 4pm to 9am on Wednesday, May 3, for Coronation preparations.

The area will also be closed on Friday, May 5 from 7pm until after the Coronation on Saturday, May 6.
