TODAY is the last day to post your second class cards and parcels to be sure they’ll arrive in time for Christmas.
According to data released by Royal Mail on inland posting services, any second class mail sent out after today may not arrive in time for the holidays.

Though first class letters and parcels can be posted as late as December 20 if you’re unable to dash out to drop off your mail ASAP.
If you’re hoping to pop into a post office sometime today to send things off last minute, be aware they may be large queues.
The second and third weeks of December are among the busiest times of the year to send off Christmas mail.
The first week of the month many deem as being “too early”, but the second is a prime slot for sending.
The third though – week commencing December 14 up to December 21 – can see post offices packed out of their doors as people are finishing off their sending lists before the big day.
It’s always best to mail off your parcels and cards as early as possible over the festive period to avoid potential delays.
Speaking on Christmas posting, Postmaster Arif Matadar, says: “Christmas is one of the most joyful times of year in our Post Offices.
“There’s nothing quite like seeing customers come through the door with parcels and cards, ready to spread some festive cheer to their loved ones.
“It really reminds me how much of a community hub we are.
Don’t forget to write any addresses on your mail clearly to give it the best chance of safely reaching its destination.
