To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the children’s favourite show, Peppa Pig, Royal Mail is releasing a unique set of stamps.

Royal Mail has unveiled designs for 12 new postage markers starring Peppa and her close-knit circle. Headliners include Peppa and George, Suzy Sheep, Danny Dog, Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, along with their beloved grandparents, all showcased on the main collection of eight stamps.

A mini sheet portraying the characters enjoying a party completes the festive assortment. An exclusive animation has also been put together, which sees Peppa, Daddy Pig, Mr Zebra, and a postie from Royal Mail dispersing invitations to Peppa’s bash.

David Gold, Royal Mail’s director of external affairs and policy, said: “Peppa Pig, her friends and family have brought joy and laughter to global audiences of all ages for two decades. These delightful stamps will brighten up the day of anyone receiving mail with a touch of Peppa’s charm.”

Marianne James, senior vice president of Global Licensed Consumer Products at Hasbro, said: “As a lifelong best friend, Peppa Pig encourages kids to jump in together and confidently treat each first step as a new adventure from the everyday to the epic. Getting mail in the post is an exciting and special treat for little ones, and we cannot think of a better way for families to embrace this first experience than with Peppa Pig stamps from Royal Mail.”

The stamps, along with a variety of collectable items, are available for pre-order starting today, and the stamps will be officially on sale from May 16.
