We’re well into the Christmas season, with festivities cropping up all over the country ahead of the big day.
While some of us are organised and already have presents wrapped up under the tree, others tend to leave gift-buying until the last minute.
If you belong to the latter group, you might want to check that Royal Mail will be able to deliver your Christmas gifts and cards to arrive on time.

There is so much to prepare for around the Christmas period, so it is easy to leave things until the last minute or forget important dates.
Royal Mail advises: “Allow plenty of time for posting. Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for International deliveries.”
As well as posting presents to loved ones, you want to bear these dates in mind if you are shopping online for gifts. If you are planning to post Christmas presents and cards, you can pop the below dates in your calendar so you can’t miss the deadlines.

There are no Royal Mail collections or deliveries on Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December) and New Years Day (1 January). Normal services will operate around these dates.
