Royal Mail names top 10 most wanted Christmas presents 2025

These are based on children’s letters to Santa.

For the second year running, Lego is the most wished-for gift, with Barbie and her accessories coming in second.

A collection of scooters, bikes and skateboards made it into third place on the list.

Remarkably, no electronic gadgets made the cut this year.

This is a notable shift back to traditional toys and gifts including clothes and pyjamas in fourth place, books in fifth and chocolate and sweets in sixth place on the list.

Jennifer Robb, head of Santa’s mailroom at Royal Mail, said: “It’s wonderful to see the magic of Christmas shining through in this year’s wish lists.

“Lego and Barbie continue to lead the way, but we love the mix of timeless favourites like bikes, books and sweets alongside popular character collectibles.

“It’s clear that simple joys are at the heart of every child’s Christmas.”

Character collectibles indeed continue to charm as Labubu and Stitch from Lilo & Stitch made seventh and eighth place, respectively.

Ninth was a ‘surprise’.

Make-up sets completed the top ten, suggesting older children and teens continue to embrace creative self-expression.

Royal Mail analysed the letters sent to Santa to find out the list.
