Royal Mail & Post Office Disruptions Due To Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations 2022

The Royal Mail has confirmed that there will be no deliveries or collections taking place either today or tomorrow the 2nd and 3rd of June 2022 due to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This applies to England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland with collections and deliveries set to resume as normal from Saturday, June 4.

Post Offices that are directly managed by the Post Office will be closed. Whereas some local branches run by independent Post Masters, such as those inside convenience stores, may still be open, albeit with reduced hours, while Post Offices should be operating at their normal times on Saturday.

You can use the Royal Mail’s branch finder to check for up-to-date information about your local Post Office, or the information you need to contact it directly.

You can still put post into a letter box, but it will not be collected until Saturday. Letters are collected on Saturdays across the UK from 7am until 1.30pm. There will also be deliveries on Saturdays. There are currently never collections or deliveries on Sundays.
