Royal Mail, Poșta Română and bpost win the 2025 CSR Coups de Cœur Awards

At its General Assembly in Tirana, PostEurop proudly announced the winners of the 2025 CSR Coups de Cœur Awards, recognising outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives by European postal operators. The three winning projects demonstrate the postal sector’s vital role in protecting communities, empowering employees, and driving sustainability.

 Employees Category – Winner: Royal Mail

Royal Mail was recognised for its “Innovative, Bespoke Mental Health Programme for Royal Mail Managers & Colleagues”. Using live drama-based workshops, digital resources, and in-house facilitators, the programme reached over 70% of managers across the UK, improving confidence in spotting signs of poor mental health and equipping leaders to support colleagues.

  • Impact: Confidence in spotting poor mental health increased from 45% to 73%; support confidence rose from 53% to 76%.

Reach: Over 5,000 managers trained in 41 workshops across the UK.Other finalists in the Employees category:

Economy Category – Winner: Poșta Română

Poșta Română received the award for its initiative “Romanian Post Fights Against Domestic Violence”, which mobilises postmen, post offices, and communication channels to promote the Bright Sky app, a tool offering immediate support, education, and secure evidence gathering for victims of abuse. By distributing thousands of flyers and posters and training postal staff, the project provides life-saving resources to vulnerable citizens.

  • Impact: 10,000 posters and 50,000 flyers distributed; hundreds of postmen trained to support millions of citizens.
  • Tool: Bright Sky app enables secure evidence collection and immediate support.

Environment Category – Winner: bpost

bpost triumphed in the Environment category with its “CO Calculator for Each Individual Parcel, Based on Real Data. Fully compliant with ISO 14083 and the GLEC framework, the tool uses actual parcel data — including distance, fuel type, and weight — to provide transparent carbon reporting. Customers can monitor and reduce their footprint while tracking bpost’s decarbonisation progress.

  • Impact: CO₂ calculator compliant with ISO 14083 and GLEC; awarded Amazon’s Excellence in Emissions Reporting.

Reach: Real-time dashboard with scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions; daily updates for customers.Other finalists in the Environment category:
