Royal Mail proposes to move post box at Peasemore

Royal Mail is proposing to relocate a post box in Hatt Close, Peasemore, to a new location further along the road.

The reason given for the move is because the slipway needs widening to assist the emergency services in the area.

The Livemore Partnership will be overseeing the works shortly on behalf of Royal Mail Group.

Royal Mail engineering contractors will contact West Berkshire Council’s highways team to obtain the necessary permits and licences before the works commence.

The council is expected to decide on the application by Tuesday, April 16.
