The busiest time of year is coming up for Royal Mail, and they’re not the only ones preparing for Christmas already.
They have received a special notification from Santa Claus himself in the run up to the holiday.
Father Christmas’s message explains how children can write to him and how they can receive a reply in the post too.
Addressed to all the boys and girls, Santa’s letter said: “I will be getting my sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve and in between I will try to reply to as many of you as possible.”
To hear back from Santa though, letters must be sent to him by Friday, December 6.
The message, which can be found on Royal Mail’s website, advises writers to put a stamp inside the envelope (as well as on the envelope itself) and include your full name and address in your letter.
The letter finishes with: “Looking forward to delivering your presents on Christmas Eve.
“Make sure you remember my mince pie and Rudolph’s carrot!”
Send your letters to Santa’s postal address, which is Santa/Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ
