Royal Mail has sold its Rotherham ParcelForce depot to property investment specialist InfraRed Urban Logistics Income Fund (IULIF) as part of a wider strategy to cut costs. The £13.3m deal with IULIF will see the property leased back to Royal Mail for the next eight years. The Rotherham depot is the largest Royal Mail depot, handling around 20,000 parcels a day.
