A parcel packed with cannabis has been intercepted by suspicious Royal Mail staff in Halesowen.
Police were called to Coombs Wood Delivery Office on Saturday morning (February 15) due to concerns about a package.
When officers opened the padded envelope, they discovered multiple bags containing the class B drug.
The envelope was then seized and put into an evidence bag, along with its illicit contents – which had the tag line ‘we’ll be your best buds’ printed on the packaging.
Halesowen Police took to Twitter to share a photograph of the discovery, adding that it was “one parcel that won’t be going out for delivery”.
Black Country Live has approached Royal Mail for comment.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a parcel containing cannabis was received at a Royal Mail delivery office in Halesowen just before 8.30am on Saturday.
“Enquiries continue and anyone with information is urged to contact us.”
