Royal Mail Strikes 2022: when are the postal strikes? FGN News

Royal Mail workers across the UK will continue to strike this week in a pay dispute.

It comes as the Communications Workers Union (CWU) has shared that more than 115,000 postal workers are coming out and congregating outside Royal Mail agents across the country.

The strikes began on Friday August 26 and saw mail delivery restricted by the Royal Mail.

The decision to strike came after a recent ballot which saw members vote 97.6% for industrial action with a turnout of 77%.

Now the strikes will continue for the next two weeks, causing severe disruption to regular publishing hours.
