Royal Mail van convoy to drive in memory of ‘beloved’ Preston man

The Penwortham-based family man worked at the city’s Christian Road Royal Mail depot as a delivery office manager.

Described as a ‘well respected colleague and friend to many’ the funeral procession for Nick will see up to 40 Royal Mail vans drive in convoy.

They will meet at the Pittman Way depot in Fulwood on Tuesday lunchtime before joining the funeral procession to Preston Crematorium for the service at 12.45pm on Tuesday (22 April).

Nick’s family is asking everyone to dress smart for the funeral in dark clothing with a ‘bit of red if they are able to’.

Donations in Nick’s memory are to The Isabella Rose Foundation care of Neal Buckley Funerals, 6 Liverpool Road, Penwortham, PR1 0AD or call 01772744700.

Nick leaves behind his wife Lizz, children Jack, Charlie and Jessica, his mother Cora and his siblings Shaun, Neil, Martin and Meghan.
