Royal Mail van has brick thrown through window in Radlett

Police are investigating after a Royal Mail van had a brick thrown through its windscreen.

Officers appealed for witnesses today (January 23) following the criminal damage report in Watling Street, Radlett, between 6.30am and 7am on Friday, December 30.

The van had been left parked in the road outside the sorting office when it happened.

PC Mike Morris said: “I’m appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in touch.”

Today Herts Police also appealed for information after a Land Rover Discovery was stolen from a driveway in Radlett.

The grey vehicle was taken in Park Road between 7pm on Saturday, January 7, and 9.15am the following day.

Theft prevention advice was also issued, with key tips including keeping keys away from the door and out of sight, being aware of carjackers, and not parking in dark, secluded areas.
