Royal Mail is warning of post delays in four of its delivery offices across the UK today.
The postal giant has been hit with disruption to its services due to ongoing coronavirus difficulties.
Royal Mail is blaming both Covid-related self isolation and high levels of workers off sick for delivery upheaval.
It also said “resourcing, or other local factors” is causing the service disruption.
As a result, Royal Mail said the disruption may mean it cannot deliver six days a week across certain postcodes – you can see the four delivery offices being affected at the bottom of this article.
It comes after the delivery giant warned of postal delays in 22 of its offices in December and 56 places in mid-January.

A statement on the Royal Mail site reads: “Deliveries are operating as normal across most of the country today. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
“In a small number of local offices this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.
“In those cases we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.”
It added: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”

Last month, The Mirror reported how some households said they’ve had no post in a month due to ongoing disruption.
This has led to people not getting vital bills, Christmas cards, birthday presents and event tickets in time.
One reader, who wanted to stay anonymous, lives in Kidbrooke, south London, said: ”We’ve had almost no mail since early December. Since then I have had two or three days where I have received letters.
“Today, I received two Christmas cards. It is not just me, it has happened to several people I’ve spoken to.”
In other Royal Mail news, millions of first and second class stamps are to be axed under a huge shake-up of the postal system.
Barcodes are being added to Royal Mail stamps which means it will be possible to watch videos and even greetings from senders.
People will be able to scan the codes using the Royal Mail app to watch an animation.
But the change means some of its stamps will need to be used by January 2023 or swapped for new ones.
