Customers are facing problems with the Royal Mail website.

The problems appear to have started at around 11:30 today.

The outage tracking website showed that more than 200 customers complained about the glitch this morning.

There was another spike in complaints at around 3pm this afternoon, when 180 users reported problems with the website.

Most of the issues are related to tracking parcels and logging in to the Royal Mail website.

Disappointed customers took to social media to raise concerns bout the glitch.

“I have a parcel due for delivery today,” one Twitter user said.

“I have an email from Royal Mail saying between 11:11am-2:11pm and yet nothing. I am trying to track and it’s not working.

“Can you please let me know where this is???”

Another said: “Is there a problem with the Royal Mail app Tracking?

“It just crashes when pressed (all other options are working). I’ve tried a different phone and get the same result.”

A third customer added: “Think you might need to look and your website and app.

“Can’t seem to login to the site and tracking seems to be broken.”

Royal Mail said on Twitter that the IT team were aware of an earlier problem that had since been fixed.

But complaints on Downdetector and on social media indicate that the issues are ongoing for some customers.
