Royal photographer ‘sceptical’ about Queen’s health as fears intensify

A veteran royal photographer has admitted he is “sceptical” about the Queen’s health.

The royal expert has spoken out and claimed he is now treating the updates from the Palace with “scepticism”.

Piers Morgan this weekend suggested the Queen’s health was more serious than being revealed.

Lorraine Kelly, too, admitted she was concerned and claimed she has never seen Prince Charles so worried.

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has now spoken out too.

“What did surprise me was the Palace revealed she is suffering a back strain,” he told The Sun. “Normally, they don’t reveal what the problem is. I just wonder what is really going on.”

“I now treat everything the Palace says with scepticism,” he added.

The Prime Minister said the Queen was “very well”, after the 95-year-old monarch missed the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph due to a sprained back.

Boris Johnson told a Downing Street press conference: “I know that everybody will be wanting to offer their best wishes to Her Majesty the Queen and I just wanted to reassure everybody by saying that I did see the Queen for an audience last week on Wednesday in Windsor and she’s very well.

“It shouldn’t need saying but I just wanted to say it anyway.”
