Royal Thai Army condemns Cambodia for attacking civilians in Kab Choeng District, Surin

The Royal Thai Army condemns Cambodia’s rocket attack on a civilian area in Surin, injuring three and prompting immediate evacuations to safeguard lives and property.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Royal Thai Army condemns the actions of Cambodian forces for using weapons to attack civilian targets within Thai territory.

The army denounces the violent and inhumane act by Cambodia, involving the firing of two BM-21 rockets into a community area within the Border Area Development Center in Kab Choeng District, Surin Province, at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday.

The incident caused injuries to three civilians. Thai forces promptly evacuated residents from the area to ensure their safety and protect their property.
