Sandwell set to be lit up with double festive weekend celebrations

Friar Park’s lights will be switched on tonight in Crankhall Lane, Friar Park with fun for all the family and plenty of festive spirt.

The event takes place near the post office from 4pm to 7.30pm with the lights being switched on at 7pm.

Then tomorrow (Saturday) the mayor of Sandwell Councillor Steve Melia will be switch the Blackheath Christmas lights, with Santa present as well and plenty of festive fun, music and dancing from 5pm to 7pm in High Street in the town centre with the big switch on at 6.30pm.
