Savvides gets his new start date at Jupiter as Whitmore holds on

Alex Savvides will complete his switch from JO Hambro to Jupiter to manage the £1.6bn UK Special Situations fund on 7 October. 

Citywire A-rated Savvides was drafted in earlier this year to replace Ben Whitmore, who manages about a fifth of Jupiter’s assets.

Whitmore will be around for a few weeks to hand over to Savvides before heading off to launch his own boutique, with his departure date pushed from 31 July to 31 October.
