Scarily accurate optical illusion can tell if you are ‘super indecisive’

A new personality test based on an optical illusion claims it could determine whether you’re a problem solver or indecisive by nature.

The brainteaser comes from Mia Yilin, an optical illusion fan who caters to nearly half a million followers on TikTok with her personality tests.

Yilin is famed for reading personality traits based on what people see when they first look at mind-bending imagery, and her posts frequently prove a hit with optical illusion enthusiasts.

In one of her latest posts, the TikToker gave viewers an overview of what it means if you see the hand in the picture or screaming man first.

The post has racked up nearly 6,500 likes so far, leaving fans baffled by the accuracy of Yilin’s character analysis.

“What’s the first thing you see in this picture?” Mia asks at the start of the clip. “If you first saw the shouting man then you’re a deep thinker.”

These people are more inclined to explore their inner psyche, making self-reflection “a way of life” for them.

This gives these individuals a profound understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses, Yilin explained in the clip.

“But make sure to be kind to yourself and practice self-acceptance,” added Yilin. “You’re doing great and nobody’s perfect.”

Meanwhile, the content creator says those who saw the first saw the hand are “incredible problem solvers” in stressful situations, and can tackle any challenge coming their way.

“On the other hand, when met with simple decisions like where to eat for lunch you can be super indecisive,” added the content creator.

The analysis clearly resonated with the audience, as viewers rushed to the comments to share their thoughts on the test, with one writing: “I saw the [hand]. So true about me”.

Another said: “I saw the arm and this is so true, half the time I don’t eat lung because of this.”

“She has me figured out,” explained a third commentator. “I saw the hand”.
