Schaeffer’s Early Edge: A Brokerage Downgrade Sends eBay Inc. Lower (Centre Daily Times)

It’s been a rough session for eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) and Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN), as both companies were downgraded from “outperform” to “market perform” at Bernstein Research. The brokerage firm stated that there was a greater risk of the companies cutting their outlook and underperforming given the weak economy.
