A GIRL of seven got a letter delivered to her gran — despite not writing her full name or address on the envelope.
In a cheeky challenge for mail workers, Cora Kelly Bell’s only clue was that her loved one likes taking pictures of a local beauty spot.
The youngster addressed it to simply: “Anne, who takes photos of Fair Head, Ballycastle, N Ireland.”
Remarkably, it arrived just a day later at her granny Anne Kelly’s home in County Antrim.
Inside was a note from little Cora, of Stirling, which said: “Phone us if this letter arrived — this is a test for the postie.”
Anne is a keen amateur photographer who specialises in pics of Fair Head, a scenic cliff near her Ballycastle home.
And she laughed at the antics of Cora, one of her daughter Orla’s two girls.
She explained: “My daughter Orla lives in Scotland with Cora and her sister Sarah. They would miss me and I miss them.

“They would quite often write wee letters to us, wee drawings that the girls have done and post it to myself and my husband Brian.”
She added: “They put a first class stamp on it and sent it from Stirling. They thought no way is that going to get to us, they assumed it would get lost in the post.

“They posted it at 11am one day and it arrived with me within 24 hours.
“It was a challenge to the postman to see if he could get the letter to granny. The postman passed it with flying colours.”
