Search for two men launched following theft in village

A search for two men has been launched by police following a theft in a village.

Thames Valley Police says the theft happened at approximately 2.30pm on Thursday, January 16 in Wootton Village near Abingdon.

The force is appealing for information about two men or their van in relation to the theft.

Police are appealing for information about a van (Image: Thames Valley Police) A statement posted on social media today (January 21) said: “Investigator Tinegate is asking for your help.

“Do you recognise these people, or their van?

“We believe they may have vital information in relation to a theft

“If you have information, including an CCTV or doorbell footage or have spotted the van in the area please 101 or use the Thames Valley Police website quoting Ref: 43250024935.”
