Second phase of consultation for Goods Station launched

Vita Group is launching the second phase of consultation on its Birmingham master plan, Goods Station.

Regeneration firm Vita Group is leading the Goods Station project on the four-acre site of the old Axis office building in Holliday Street next to the Mailbox.

The aim is to honour the site’s heritage while creating a mixed-use urban neighbourhood with a residential focus.

A consultation event will take place on Thursday, April 11, at Spaces, Mailbox (Level 1), Royal Mail Street, B1 1RS, offering attendees the chance to explore and learn more about the proposed plans for Goods Station.

Additionally, the Goods Station website has been updated with further details and visuals related to the consultation.

Jon Weston, Vita Group, development director said: “Our first round of public consultation for Goods Station was met with real excitement from across the city, now as we get closer to defining our plans, we’d like to hear your thoughts about our emerging proposal for the masterplan.  The aim is to create a vibrant and inclusive neighbourhood. A site which forges better connections with the city creates a destination for everyone to enjoy with new routes as well as a welcoming public square, and importantly, places for people to live, stay and socialise.”
