Sentenced: arsonist who set fire to Royal Mail fuel pump in Hereford

AN ARSONIST set fire to Royal Mail property in Hereford, a court has heard.

Benjamin Willsher entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 40-year-old had intentionally set fire to a fuel pump, rubber hose, electrical wiring, a Triscan refuelling computer, and two wheelie bins belonging to Royal Mail in Hereford on November 12, 2020.

Willsher, of Curzon Street, Derby, was handed a nine-month community order and fined £40. He must also pay costs of £100 and a £95 victim surcharge.
