‘Severe’ delays following crash on M6 motorway near Knutsford

Two lanes of the M6 Northbound have been closed following a crash.

The closure is in place between J18 (Middlewich/Holmes Chapel) and J19 (Knutsford).

This has led to “severe” and “increasing” delays and queuing traffic, the AA’s website states.

According to National Highways there are delays of around 30 minutes.

It is expected to clear some time between 6.15pm and 6.30pm this evening (August 9).
