Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) — Royal Dutch Shell Plc , Europe’s largest oil company, and PetroChina Co. agreed to explore for shale gas in the Sichuan basin. The two “have signed a joint assessment agreement to explore for shale gas in the Fushun-Yongchuan block,” Adam Newton , a spokesman for The Hague-based Shell, said today in an e-mail.
