Hawaiian police hunt two tourists who were caught on surveillance camera destroying an intricate sand sculpture in the lobby of a five-star hotel during a night out
- A woman could be seen destroying a sand sculpture at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu at approximately 11.16pm on August 12
- The woman can be seen swinging a pillow at the sculpture before climbing over and knocking down a sand woman’s face
- Her friend films the spectacle while it is taking place
- Both women ran from the scene after the woman was done vandalizing the sculpture
- Jill Harris, owner of Sansational, said that her partner – Thomas Koet – is in Hawaii and will be working on repairing the sculpture at the hotel
Hawaii authorities are looking for two women who vandalized a sand sculpture in a hotel lobby before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu on August 12 at approximately 11.16pm.
Video from the hotel shows two women approach the sculpture before one swings a pillow at it.

Sand can be seen falling off the sculpture as the woman turns her sights to one of the heads and pulls it off.
As she is destroying the art, her friend can be seen filming the spectacle on her cellphone.
The clip shows the women fleeing from the scene and running through the hotel.

One is wearing black pants with a black halter top while the other sports a pair a jeans and a black top.
Both women appear to be in their late 20s or early 30s.
Honolulu Police are looking for the women and shared videos from the hotel’s surveillance cameras.
