Sign hints at new future for former Nuneaton town centre restaurant

The appearance of a sign has hinted at a new future for a former restaurant in Nuneaton town centre. Above the entrance to the old Ginger Tree is a new sign that reads ‘The President’.

It comes just over a year after another venture was set to open in the building, which also played home to the Wing Wah on Bond Street. Last summer, signage emerged for ‘No7 Dining’ – which promised English, Indian and Chinese cuisine as well as a shisha.

This has never materialised. The new ‘The President’ sign at the front of the former nightclub building hovers over the ‘No7Dining’ signage which remains on the door.

‘The President’ appears to have no presence on social media as yet. THE PRESIDENT RESTAURANT LTD is a company that has been registered as a private limited company since May 2022.

The nature of business it is registered as is 56101 – licensed restaurants.
