Sky’s new paranormal TV show filmed in St Albans set to air featuring Eastenders actor

A new season of Sky TV show has announced its return to screens with a promise to push the limits of paranormal TV. Nub TV has been filmed in the Trestle Theatre in St Albans and is set to feature numerous ghost stories.

Viewers will have a chance to see Eastenders’ actor John Altman talking about his “numerous ghostly encounters” and on top of that, St Albans band The Pocket Gods’ frontman, Mark Christopher Lee will present the show. The indie band member along with Guy Thompson from electro-pop band The Boy From Space, will mix “the best new local music with the paranormal and UFOs”.

Mr Lee said: “We’ve filmed the first 2 series in the Trestle Theatre in St Albans with local production company Videofeet. I’ve always had an interest in the paranormal after seeing Arthur C Clarke’s Mysterious World on TV in the 1970’s. He was an acclaimed author and also a scientist who took a rational approach to the subject but always had an open mind to these things and this is the same attitude we have on Nub TV.”

The first series got rave reviews a cult following and tens of thousands of viewers from all over the UK for its bold and honest approach to investigating the paranormal.

As well as featuring the best new music videos presenters interview favourite UFO and paranormal experts about the weirdest subjects out there. Guests include the world’s leading UFO expert Nick Pope, who will talk about the King Charles’s interest in UFO and the possibility of opening up the British X Files.

Moreover, the show includes a scene where presenters, Guy and Mark, consider contacting the recently deceased Queen on a Ouija board.

The Pocket Gods frontman said: “In this series we have Eastenders’ actor John Altman (Nick Cotton) talk about his numerous ghostly encounters which defy logic and we also have guests talking about everything from the English Bigfoot, TikTok Time Travellers, one of the stars of hit TV show The Curse Of Oak Island talking about the latest series about the world’s longest treasure hunt and we also have on a very credible BAFTA award winning film-maker David Rolfe about his new film which states that

“The Turin Shroud is the genuine burial shroud of Jesus! As we’re also a local music label we also feature music videos from our local artists whom we’re very proud of including alt rock band Kick Pistol, punk band Determinate and rapper Coebe.”

The series will have seven episodes in total. Starting from Tuesday, November 15.
