Smoking package evacuates Salem post office (KGW NewsChannel 8 Portland)

The Salem bomb squad was at the West Salem Post Office, responding to a suspicious package found by mail sorters Monday morning. Salem Police spokesman Lt. Dave Okada said their robot would be x-raying a package that was smoking and appeared burned when a postal employee came across it.
