Southampton Royal Mail House offices burgled

Two burglaries at a Southampton office block were discovered over the course of last week, with thieves making off with a number of electronics.

A video taken by employees showed the destruction left in the wake of the thieves. 

On Monday Jan 25 Hampshire Constabulary received a report that an office in Royal Mail House, Terminus Terrace, had been broken into sometime between 9pm on Sunday and 7.40am on Monday.

An Apple desktop computer, Apple Mac Book Air and a number of computer accessories were stolen.

On Wednesday Jan 27 it was then reported that another office in the same building had been broken into sometime between 6pm Wednesday 6 January and 6pm Monday 25 January.

An air filter was stolen.

One employee in the block, Neto Nolberto said: “This burglary has affected my job significantly as some of the most necessary equipment has gone missing.

“But the impact of the burglary isn’t just financial. It has also impacted me emotionally and my sense of security.”
