Spending May Start to Recover in 2009, FedEx CEO Says (Update1) (Bloomberg)

Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) — Business spending in the U.S. may start to recover in the second half of 2009 as companies replenish inventories, said Fred Smith , chief executive officer of FedEx Corp., the second-largest U.S. package-delivery company.
