Stamps increase viewed as no big deal (The Alpena News)

Beginning Monday, postage rates will move up another penny. The cost of a first-class stamp increases from 41 to 42 cents. This is the first postage increase since the 2 cent increase in May 2007. The price of the Forever Stamp also will going up as well. The Forever stamps can still be purchased for 41 cents, but will be good only for first-class postage.
