The excuse was right there to be offered up in a sombre Calgary Stampeders locker-room. In every corner there was coughing, enough to make it obvious that a bug of some sort had taken hold of the Stampeders at the worst possible time, as they prepared for Saturday’s West Division showdown with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
